Donald 'Donny' P. Stone (1953-2019)

Donald ‘Donny’ P. Stone, 66, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 at his home in Ellsworth. He was born May 31, 1953 in Graham, Texas to Billy Stone, Sr. and Eva (Needham) Stone.
Donny was a longtime resident of Ellsworth, where he married Susanne ‘Susie’ Deiser on Nov. 5, 1978. He was a special machinist, toolmaker at Cashco, Inc. in Ellsworth. Donny served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Post 174 American Legion Riders. He was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed his time at the golf course.
Donny is survived by his wife Susie of Ellsworth; daughters, Jessica Atkinson of Hutchinson and Kendra Stone of Ellsworth; son, Trinity Stone of Kanopolis; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Stone, Jr. of Kanopolis; and many nieces and nephews. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Stone, Sr. and Eva Stone; brother, Bobby Stone; and sister, Carol Mazzotta.
The memorial service is at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth with inurnment following in Kanopolis Cemetery.
