Edward J. Olejniczak (1935-2019)
Edward J. Olejniczak, 84, Wilson, passed away Oct. 13 in Salina. He was born July 17, 1935 to Edward and Edith Miller in Gowanda, N.Y. He was united in marriage to Berniece (Steinle) Olejniczak on May 2, 1959 in Salina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Edith Miller; a stillborn daughter, Annette Sherrill Olejniczak; and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Berniece Olejniczak; a daugher, Elaine Simmons (Doug) of Great Bend; a grandchild, Elizabeth (Caleb) Alexander; five brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Wilson, with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wilson. Interment will be in the Wilson City Cemetery with U.S. Airforce and American Legion Post 262 performing Military Rites.
