Jean Deming (1930-2019)

Jean Deming, 89, of Willis, Texas passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019. Jean was born June 24, 1930 in Ellsworth, Kan.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Melvin, and son Robert Deming.
Jean is survived by daughter Linda Garrett; son Donald Deming; and son Melvin Deming and wife Nancy; eleven grandsons, Michael Garett, Brad, Kenny, Clayton, Ryan, Eric, Adam, David, Richard, Jason, and Kevin Deming; 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, including Verl Deming and Garnell Hanson, both of Ellsworth, and John Deming of Salina.
Jean worked in the nursing field for 31 years before retiring from Park Plaza hospital after 20 years of service.
The funeral was Aug. 31 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, Texas with burial at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery.
