Barton County Notice to Vacate Road

NOTICE

An application has been received by the Barton County Commissioners to vacate the following roadway right-of-way:
    All public road right of way along and adjacent
    to a line beginning at a point twenty five (25)
    feet east of the Northwest (NW) corner of
    Section Fourteen (14), Township Sixteen (16)
    South, Range Eleven (11) West, thence east
    along the north line of said section to the
    Northwest (NW) corner of the Northeast
    Quarter (NE ¼) of Section Fourteen (14),
    Township Sixteen (16) South, Range
    Eleven (11) West.
The Barton County Commissioners shall hold a public viewing of the roadway on Monday, August 12th, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., at the intersection of NE 210 Road and NE 140 Ave. The roadway is described in general as NE 210 Road from NE 140 Avenue then east for one-half (1/2) mile. Consideration of the request to vacate the roadway right of way shall take place at the Barton County Commission Meeting, 1400 Main St, Room 106, Great Bend, KS on Monday, August 19th,2019 at 9:00 a.m.  Comments may be presented at the public viewing and at the Commission Meeting.  Written comments will also be considered and must be received by August 14, 2019.
