William (Bill) W. Mollhagen (1934-2019)

William (Bill) W. Mollhagen, 84, of Lorraine, Kan. passed away May 18, 2019 in Lakepoint Nursing Home in Augusta, Kan.
Bill was born June 20, 1934 in Lorraine. He was a farmer in the Lorraine community for many decades. He was united in marriage to Evelyn May Jarboe Dec. 17, 1955 in Lorraine and blessed with 59 years of marriage. He graduated from McPherson College in 1956 where he enjoyed singing in the A Cappella Choir.
He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Lorraine, being baptized Jan. 31, 1943 and becoming a member. He also served as a deacon, a BYF sponsor for several years and sang in the church choir.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Dorthea Wagner Mollhagen; father, William Walter Mollhagen; loving wife, Evelyn Mollhagen.
He is survived by three sons, Robin of Junction City, Brian (Carol) of Cabool, Mo. and David (Esther) of Wichita; five granddaughters, Noelle Faustmann (Anton), Ariel, Jessica, Tara (Eric Shepherd) and Leah Mollhagen; one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Faustmann.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2 at the First Baptist Church, Lorraine with the family.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at the First Baptist Church, Lorraine with burial following in the Lorraine Baptist Cemetery.
