Frank Herman Choitz (1939-2020)

Frank Herman Choitz, 80, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020, in Ellsworth. He was born June 22, 1939 in Ellsworth to Emil and Dorothea (Choitz) Choitz.

Frank was a lifetime resident of Ellsworth County where he was a mechanic, Case dealer, and partner at Choitz Bros. Equipment Co. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of rural Ellsworth where he held various offices over the many years of his faithful membership.

Frank is survived by brothers, Lawrence (Erma), Emil, Jr. (Arlene), and Ralph (Evelyn) all of Ellsworth. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward, Norman, Gilbert, George, Harry, and Carl; and sisters, Ruth Williams and Mabel Anschutz.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m., Sunday, March 29, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

A private family graveside service will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Hemophilia Foundation, in care of Parsons Funeral Home, Box 45, Ellsworth, Kan. 67439.
