Murrell-Lorson Engagement
Brittany Murrell and Matthew Lorson
Robert and Jina Murrell of Ellsworth announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Lee Murrell, to Matthew Joseph Lorson, son of Michael and Gail Lorson of Hope.
The bride-elect is a 2014 graduate of Kansas State University (KSU) with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She is also a 2020 graduate of Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, Tenn., with a doctorate degree in optometry. She will be employed as an optometrist later this summer at Lentz Eye Care in Wichita and Newton.
The prospective groom is a 2014 graduate of KSU with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. He is also a 2019 graduate of SCO with a doctorate degree in optometry. He is employed as an optometrist at Southwind Eyecare in Hutchinson.
The couple resides in North Newton.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 8 at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan.
