Dale Grothusen to celebrate 101st birthday
Birthday
Dale Grothusen, of Salina and formerly of Ellsworth, will celebrate his 101st birthday with his immediate family. Dale was born Dec. 17, 1918, in rural Ellsworth County.

He served as an elder at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. The Grothusens are long-time polka dancing and big band enthusiasts.
Their children are Marsha, of Dallas, Texas, Ruth, of Eugene, Ore., and Bill, of Phoenix, Ariz.
