Carole Boor will celebrate 80th birthday

Carole ( Jiricek) Boor will celebrate her 80th birthday June 7 with a card shower.

Carole was born June 7, 1940 in Ellsworth, Kan. to Steve and Blanche Jiricek.

She graduated in 1958 from Ellsworth High School and married Bernard Boor Oct. 7, 1958.

Carole has lived in the Hoisington and Odin areas for 62 years. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and has been a stay-at-home mom and farm wife. She played the organ for her church for 23 years.
